Father Charles Warner, B.A., M.T.S, D. Min. is Priest-in-Charge of Morley Road Ministries & Mission of the Holy Cross Anglican Catholic Church in Sydney Forks, Nova Scotia. He was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia and raised as a Roman Catholic in the Whitney Pier area of the city. Fr. Warner attended Sydney Academy High School followed by two years of undergraduate study at the College of Cape Breton, before transferring to Acadia University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a concentration in Political Science.

Prior to his post-graduate study, Fr. Warner earned a Diploma in Journalism, a Certificate in Small Business Development and two Certificates in Clinical Pastoral Education. From 1992 until 2003 he was active in both Roman Catholic and Anglican Lay Ministry. He then joined the Anglican Catholic Church of Canada in 2003 and was ordained to the Deaconate in 2006, and the Priesthood in 2007.

Fr. Warner’s main Academic Interest is Ecclesiastical History. He earned his Master of Theological Studies Degree from St. Stephen’s Theological College/University of Alberta with concentrations in Ecclesiastical History and Pastoral Care in 2005. His Master’s thesis is entitled The Oxford Movement: Anglo-Catholicism and the Birth of Anglican Catholic Identity. He earned his of Doctor of Ministry degree from Acadia Divinity College/Acadia University with concentrations in Ecclesiastical History and Spiritual Direction in 2010.

Father Warner's Doctoral thesis is entitled Recognizing Anglican Catholic Identity: An Historical Review of the Anglican Catholic Movement, the Affirmation of St. Louis and the Traditional Anglican Communion. Currently, he is a Church History Instructor at St. Bede's Anglican Catholic Theological College.

Father Warner is married to his wife Cathy, and they have three adult children, Andrew, Michael and Lindsay.
